THE BURIED LIFE was launched by Mark Rubbo in front of a large crowd at the Abbotsford Convent on March 11th. In addition to our conversation, there was music performed by ANAM pianist, Francis Atkins. The launch opened with the mesmerising Adagietto from Mahler’s Symphony #5 adapted for solo piano, and it closed with the wild and virtuosic, jump-out-of-your-seat Transcendental Etude #1 by Liszt.
